The following step-by-step walkthrough will show you how to build a Staff Training AI Assistant in Stack AI. 

As a first step, make sure to sign up for a free StackAI account. Navigate to the account dashboard. Click ‘New Project’.

Click the ‘Workflow Builder’ option.

From here, choose the Staff Training AI Assistant template. 

This will launch a pre-built workflow for the Staff Training AI Assistant.

Let’s examine each component in the workflow. First, we have the Input node. This allows new employees to ask questions of the Knowledge Base.

Next in the workflow is the documents Knowledge Base. 

This is where you’ll upload all of your documentation for your new employees. The LLM will search these documents for an answer. Click on the node to add your new employee documentation to the database. 

The LLM is next in the workflow. The LLM version is Anthropic - Claude 3.5 Sonnet. These are the Instructions for the LLM:

You are an AI that trains company staff based on information from a knowledge base.
- On each message you will receive context from the knowledge base and a user message.
- Be brief and polite.
- Be conversational and friendly.
- Suggest 4 follow up questions at the end of each response.
- Make sure to add citations to all sources

The Prompt for the LLM is the following:

The final component of the workflow is the Output. This is the output of the LLM.

Now go to the Export tab. 

Add a name and a description for your AI agent.

Click the link to launch the web app. This will deploy the AI agent in your browser.

In this case, the employee asks what the office hours of the company are. The AI agent generates a response.
