August Product Update

We’ve rolled out exciting new updates to the Stack AI platform.

These include End-user Connections, Project Export, Smart Knowledge Base, New Models & Integrations

Let's explore what's new.

Export Projects as .stackai

You can now export/import your projects as encrypted .stackai files for secure backup and sharing.

Use end-user Connections

Now, you have the option to alternatively use end-user connections instead of a centralized one for your organization.

For example, enable this option when sending an email with Gmail.

End users are then prompted to create their connection if they haven’t done so already

Once the end-user connection has been setup, they can now execute the action as designed by the workflow builder

Revamped Run Details in Analytics

See the full Run Details via Analytics, including a Workflow view that you can expand for a more detailed view

Knowledge Base: Document summaries as metadata

We’re improving the experience of ingesting & retrieving documents via Knowledge Bases

Now, metadata is generated when ingesting documents - with properties like keywords, long summary, and short summary automatically added to their metadata for future reference

Using variables as reference in the LLM node

System variables like user id, name, email, can be referenced in the LLM node — here’s an example to greet the user with their name

Citations can now be referenced in the Output node via Edit Template

Knowledge Base: Better Indexing

• Ability to index & parse ZIP, SVG, and EML files

• Improved PowerPoint processing

• Ablity to process embedded files within Word Documents

• Compatibility with Excel files like xlsm

Enhanced UI/UX

When sharing conversations, you can now additionally export them as PDF

Improved UI for the Connection selector

Download outputs as Landscape PDF to capture wider data like tables

Additional time units via Delay node

• Convert Markdown to File action

• Fallback LLM for AI routing

New integrations & actions

• Read Sharepoint Lists

• Read attachments from Microsoft Teams chats

• Connect to Google Drive via Oauth2
