How to build a SOW Response Agent
An intake-to-draft workflow that collects project details, retrieves matching SOW templates from OneDrive, drafts a polished SOW in markdown, saves it as a Word document in SharePoint, and emails a review link via Outlook.
Challenge
Writing SOW/RFP drafts from scratch is slow, inconsistent, and hard to review because teams can’t reliably reuse the right prior templates and past language.

This agent streamlines SOW/RFP creation by gathering key engagement inputs (client name, industry, project type, scope, timeline, team composition, and budget) and using them to search OneDrive for the most relevant SOW templates and examples. It then uses an LLM to draft a tailored SOW in a consistent structure aligned to the selected template, producing a clear, reusable document-ready output. The workflow converts the draft into a Word (DOCX) file stored in SharePoint and automatically sends an Outlook email to the designated reviewer with a direct link to the document—reducing turnaround time, improving consistency, and accelerating internal review.
