When a user submits a safety-related question—such as how to handle a chemical spill—the agent collects the question and any supporting files (like photos or logs). It then automatically searches across several knowledge bases, including internal company safety documentation, OSHA standards, and incident records, as well as external resources like the OSHA website. All this information is fed into a specialized large language model (LLM) configured to act as a seasoned Safety Manager, which synthesizes the data and generates a clear, actionable response. The answer is then presented to the user, and can also be routed for further action, such as uploading documentation to Box for record-keeping. This workflow ensures that users receive accurate, compliant, and context-aware safety guidance, reducing the risk of error and improving response times in critical situations.
